The club has recently undergone some major changes and is now being run by John and Linda Wickings - originating from the Chestfield Table Tennis Club. Anxious to retain the connection with Chestfield Warriors and the Chestfield Table Tennis Club, John and Linda will be managing the re-emergence of the old Swalecliffe club into the Canterbury & District Table Tennis Leagues to include various other teams wishing to seek a suitable playing venue.

Offering new equipment and an introduction of younger players, we will be looking for as much sponsorship as possible and it is our intention to completely upgrade the building away from its existing condition.

We have already made several changes including replacing the kitchen area, to immediately improve the venue, and will be looking to repairing the roof, re-pointing the building, damp proofing the existing walls and completely clearing the surrounding grounds, hopefully this year or in the very near future. The back room is also now open and suitable for playing and for training/coaching, including a robot with league standard table. The main room also has a brand new high quality league standard table
